This month we were delighted to announce £3 million in government investment to drive forward the Life Sciences Industrial Strategy via apprenticeships and skills. This significant scale-up of skills and capability training will bridge the gap between regulatory approval of cell and gene therapies and their integration into front line health services.

This announcement was made at the World Advanced Therapies and Regenerative Medicine Congress in London, where CEO Keith Thompson took the stage in the plenary session and CBO Matthew Durdy chaired the cell and gene C-level forum.

We are looking forward to taking part in the Automation Special Interest Group in Hertfordshire this week (30-31 May), as well as hosting a networking reception at our newly opened manufacturing centre in Stevenage. More information can be found on our website
