Last month we were pleased to welcome a delegation from the Hertfordshire Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP) to our manufacturing centre in Stevenage. We also partnered with Stevenage Bioscience Catalyst, GSK and Aglaris at the OnHelix conference in Cambridge to discuss the impact that the manufacturing cluster in Stevenage is having on the industry and we were happy to meet many of you at the Tissue and Cell Engineering Society Conference in Keele.

Hertfordshire LEP Government sponsor visits manufacturing centre
On his first official Stevenage visit Ian Porée visited Stevenage Bioscience Catalyst and the CGT Catapult manufacturing centre to learn more about the centre and the growing cell and gene therapy manufacturing cluster in the area.

Investment in Stevenage cluster highlighted
Almost £400m of the £520m investment by SBC occupiers in 2017-18 has come from cell and gene therapy companies, as explained by CEO Dr Sally-Ann Forsyth at the ON Helix conference on 10-11 July. CGT Catapult, GSK and Aglaris also took part.
