Terms and conditions
 


• Corporate members must have no direct or indirect involvement in the promotion or sale of EFL programmes or courses in the UK which are not accredited under the Accreditation UK scheme.

• By joining English UK, corporate members commit themselves to ethical business practices comparable to those in the English UK Code of Practice. English UK reserves the right to revoke corporate membership if it considers that a corporate member is not abiding by ethical business practices.

• Corporate members agree to promote the general interests of all English UK member centres, including those of other corporate members.

• Corporate members agree to follow the English UK guidelines when publishing their corporate membership status and using the English UK corporate member logo.

• Application for membership will be considered by the English UK Chief Executive and a decision will be recommended to the English UK Board. English UK reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to reject an application without assigning a reason. 

• Confirmation of corporate membership will be given by English UK and will be made definitive by issuance of confirmation letter and receipt of payment. 

• Corporate membership will be annual (January-December) and payment will run pro-rata, depending on the date of commencement, based on full months of membership in the first year of joining.

• An organisation may withdraw from corporate membership by giving two weeks' notice in writing to English UK but no refunds on subscriptions will be made whatever the date of withdrawal.
