Eurovision Song Contest 2023 reaches 162 million viewers with record-breaking online engagement and musical impact 

The 67th Eurovision Song Contest, hosted by the BBC in Liverpool on behalf of Ukraine, united audiences across the world on both linear and online platforms.

The Contest reached 162 million people over the 3 live shows across 38 public service media markets, with more than 540 million views of official videos on TikTok, Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook.

Big tech platforms are unilaterally determining who sees what and when – based on their own recommender algorithms and community standards. Without regulatory intervention, the gatekeeping role of digital device and user interface providers will likely remain unchallenged in the near future, ultimately further reinforcing their market power.

We are delighted to have reached an agreement with DAZN for 12 Members to broadcast the UEFA Women’s Champions League Final 2023 free-to-air this weekend.

Eurovision Sport agrees media rights deal with FIBA 3x3

We're thrilled to announce we've reached agreement with FIBA, the international basketball federation, to broadcast the new Olympic discipline of 3x3 basketball over the next two years.

Luxembourg to return to the Eurovision Song Contest in 2024

We are thrilled to welcome back Luxembourg to the Eurovision Song Contest 30 years after their last participation and 40 years after their last win. The country has one of the most successful records in the Contest with 5 wins in the first three decades of the competition alone.
