Ideal replacement for legacy edge QAMs
Luminato 4X4 is a modular device with six hot-swappable module slots. When equipped with edge QAM modules, it can provide 192 QAMs and deliver up to 6000 TV channels in 1 RU. All content can be received via one 10 GbE port or several ports when a redundancy is required. The platform supports over 30 conditional access (CA) systems and provides simulcrypt for up to 10 different systems.

Ready for remote PHY networks
Networks evolve and video headend needs to be ready for what will be next. In future, remote PHY networks need video engines instead of edge QAMs at headends. Luminato 4X4 edge QAM can act as a Video Engine that feeds remote PHY devices using L2TP tunneling for all channels. Once your edge QAM is not needed anymore, you can use it as a Video Engine.
