**Note, General is any business directly linked to the tourism and travel sector deriving more than 50% of its income from tourism and travel, that can prove to the satisfaction of the Department for Enterprise’s Chief Executive that it has and continues to suffer at least 50% reduction of turnover as a direct result of the border restrictions imposed due to COVID-19.

Section 1: Eligible Criteria - Part B

Confirm you have suffered a 50% reduction in turnover compared to the same period (January/February/March) in 2019 or 2020 and agree to provide documentary evidence of this if required by the Department to do so.*
 
Applicants who have received either or both of the Coronavirus Circuit Break Lockdown payments (CBL - January £1,500 or the March/April £2,500) are ineligible for this Scheme. Any previous CBSS £3,000 payments received under funding rounds 3 or 4 in the period January-February-March must include these payments as turnover in their figures.
  
Confirm you normally gain more than half of your annual income from tourism or travel activities and agree to provide documentary evidence of this if required by the Department to do so.*
 
Confirm your business was operating on 28th February 2020 and remains in operation*
 
Confirm it is the intention of the business to continue trading through the current, difficult conditions into at least the short to mid-term future*
 
Confirm that you understand if the business ceases trading any grant received may be repayable*
