April 2020

Sterrewacht Leiden

In these uncertain times we would like to offer our alumni our support. Whether you are working from home, in seclusion or working in a vital profession, we hope you are doing well. With this newsletter we want to inform you about what is happening at your alma mater. Employees work from home as much as possible. Our colleagues are working hard to enable online education for our students. Scientists remain fully committed to their research into solutions to the major challenges of our time, helping to fight infectious diseases and crisis management. Unfortunately, we have had to postpone many events, including those for our alumni. But, we do offer you online knowledge and connection. This includes free lecture series, webinars and our Mentor Network. The other news in this newsletter hopefully offers some distraction from all the worries about the situation in which we find ourselves. Do you have any questions or is there something we can help you with? Let us know via info@alumni.leidenuniv.nl.
