Dies for alumni: participants from all over the world 

The Dies Natalis for alumni on 11 February took place online, allowing alumni from all over the world to participate. Annetje Ottow, recently appointed President of Leiden University’s Executive Board welcomed almost 1,000 alumni who tuned in for lectures and online networking.

Virtual Alumni Toast on the East Coast

Following a successful gathering in late January on the West Coast, NL universities in collaboration with the Dutch Embassy in Washington DC and the Netherlands Innovation Attaché Network, invite Leiden alumni living on the USA East Coast to a collective NL alumni ‘Toast on the East Coast’

Alumnus (90) donates historic house to Leiden University

Alumnus Ruurt Hazewinkel (90) has presented Leiden University with a special gift: a historic house on Leiden’s Rapenburg canal. He handed over the key to Rector Carel Stolker on Monday 25 January.
