Criteria for support

  • Basic business idea in place
  • Some basic market research undertaken
  • Identified key individuals are in place to develop the business
  • Job/s will be created as a result of the support within 2 years
  • Identified distinct trading activity
  • Identified clear social objectives

The support and advice provided through the Wales Co-operative Centre's Social Business Wales constitutes De Minimis aid under the Commission Regulation (EU) No 1407/2013 of 18 December 2013. European Commissions rules prohibit any undertaking from receiving more than 200,000 Euros (approx. £156,000) 'De Minimis' aid over any period of three fiscal years. Any De Minimis aid granted over the 200,000 Euro limit may be subject to repayment with interest.
